Dont know what prevents the state govt to take up the issue regarding Rourkela airport. The kin ness it shows for BBSR is not at all felt when it comes to RKL airport. This comes at a tiem when industrialization is in full swing at RKL-JSG-SBP corrider. Why we are suppose to wait for 4 long years for JSG airport.Let teh airport be constructed at JSG but in the mean time why the state govt is not taking up the matter with AAI regarding the RKL airport. At one end they say looking at teh rapid industrialization we want the BBSR airport should be declared intl and at the other end we dont have direct flights to RKl from Kolkata and other metros.Well all i can say Ranchi and Kolkata is benifitting from Orissa\’s industrialization. No body from western orissa (may be personal or business purpose) is taking flight to or from BBSR.Instead most of them prefer going via Ranchi and Kolkata.Even Raipur is preferred because of close proximity.Guess i am making enough sense.
