Sri Sri University is the latest mega project Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidya Mandir Trust has undertaken to translate our beloved Guru Ji’s vision of higher education being global, contemporary, relevant, holistic and empowering. The campus will be situated on a sprawling plateau, measuring 200 acres abutted on one side by a rain fed river and a railway line on the other. Only few kilometers away from Cuttack a traditional city and Bhubaneshwar the capital of Orissa an eastern state of India; the campus will sit in the lap of Mother Nature away from the pollution and distraction of a city yet within the reach of urban facilities.

The university plans to launch its first session in August 2008. The government of the state is very upbeat about this project because this is envisaged as a truly global university in terms of courses, their content, faculty, student intake and in its environment. It will prove to be a window to ‘One World Family’ and train students who will be able to work in multi- cultural environment equipped with latest technology and knowledge relevant to the industries, markets, economies and society. To make it happen we need people who are passionate about education and the fact that how it can make a difference to hundreds of lives.

This unique educational institution keenly awaits the following people on seva or employment basis.

1. Advisors – who can advise us on course contents, infrastructure and library in the field of Management, Information Technology, International Relations, Social Service and Indian and International Law or any other field.

Profile- these people should be from the respective fields having work experience of 20 or more years as guides to students perusing doctoral degree and who can contribute significantly to the cause.

2 – Vice-Chancellor- The person should be either a working vice chancellor or a head of the department in a good university.

3-Deans- The Deans of Sri Sri University will be young enthusiasts with Doctoral Degree providing executive hands on support to the faculties of Management, Social Work, IT, International relations and Law or any other field. They should have 10 years experience in teaching in a University in respective fields. They will require working closely with our advisors and patrons. They would be free to build their team of faculty and staff set up procedures and administrations for the department.
