I am a regular reader of this site for last three months. I find this is good forum, which is dedicated for the cause of Orissa.
It is no doubt that relentless efforts of all including the Tathy to bring the issue to the fore time and again. The consistent efforts of all have given the result, though late. But we should continue our collective efforts till cabinet takes a decision on allocation of fund for the purpose of IIT & World Class Unversity. Side by side, we are also required to push the issue and take up the matter to the state Govt. for allocation of land and fulfilment of other conditions as required by HRD Ministry.
Thereafter, issue like opening up full fledge IIT Kharagpur branch for Garduatuion/Post Garduation courses can be taken up seriously. Though the chance of opening is feeble in the current political scenario, the situation may get changed and could be favourable after general eletion and change in guard in the centre.
In addition, the proposal for setting up NITER as a wing of NISER can be also taken up. To my mind, this could be possible as NITER would be under Ministry of Automic Energy. These 2 issues can be taken up appropriately after IIT issue is cleared by Cabinet and fund is allocated. However, we may pursue in our efforts for setting up Central Institute like NIFT at Bhubaneshwar, IIIT in Berhmpur and NID in Bhubaneswar.
We can also think of having a branch institute of IIFT, though chances are very remote on account of a fact that West Bengal has got the second Campus of IIFT.

IIM to be set up in trichy ,thats really a very good news for Trichiites . Soon Trichy will be a metropolitan status.

Dear Readers,
I really wonder why our local politicians of Visakhapatnam are saying that there is a proposal for World Class Central Univesity (WCCU) is going to establish…But, as per the info in this site, the name of vizag was strike off and instead of that Kadapah was proposed. so, all the politicians of vizag district are deceiving the people and they simply deceive themselves….nothing more than that….they only want power and with the help of that they only benefit for their families and they never care about the development of Visakhapatnam and the people of Visakhapatnam which is VERY VERY BAD ON THEIR PART….this is my opinion and fair comment regarding this matter after going through this web site information….
