This is the first sign of Kalahandi waking up for its own sake with the involvement of civil society and political class which it badly needed for a long time. When there is a scope for so many Universities in Orissa, there is no reason why one can’t come to Bhawanipatna which deserves a University apart from a Medical College. If the state govt. decides to start the University then it must include a school of computer sciences and engineering as well.

Thanks Traipathy babu. but its not the first time, Kalahandi has submitted a document with 80000 signatures to both state and Central Govt. in 2002 to establish a KBK central university in Kalahandi. I had submmited to both NDA and UPA govt. as well. People there have been working since 2 decades, but problem was it was not getting attention in state media and national media except local report/media like arjji.
