Plus 2 Science courses in Ekalabya Schools will benefit tribals a lot

New Indian Express reports that with seven more Ekalabya Schools of Orissa starting +2 science with 60 seats each, now all 10 Ekalabya Schools of Orissa will have +2 Science. I hope all 600 of these students go on to further studies in good colleges around the country. That would be tremendous. Following is an excerpt from the New Indian Express article:
BHUBANESWAR: Plus Two science courses will be available in seven
more Ekalabya Model Residential Schools, mostly located in the
tribal dominated and educationally backward areas of the State, from
the current academic session.The State has 10 such model schools having classes from sixth to
tenth standard. Three schools, Dhanghera in Mayurbhanj district,
Bhabanipur in Sundargarh district and Punga in Koraput district have
Plus Two science.The remaining seven schools that will have Plus Two science classes
are at Lahunipada and Linga in Sundargarh district, Hirli in
Nabarangpur, Mahasinghi in Kondhamal, Chandragiri in Gajapati, Ranki
in Keonjhar and Siriguda in Rayagada.
