Update 2: Tathya reports that the site mentioned below is not chosen by MHRD. They pick a site near Sunabeda.

Stating that they would start the academic year in 2009 without any notification / advertisement for faculty or Admission notice seems to do a disservice not only because students are looking forward to apply immediately after graduating themselves but also because prospect faculty members are not sure whether there would be an advetisement or not (Or God knows when!). Can someone say if it is just a media hype or another type of medical college ISSUE in Bolangir? It is Orissa after all where there has not been any govt appointment for lecturers since decades (sorry ages)!

When the admission notification is coming out, as of orissa\\’s media is so poor that may not publicized to all over india, because of it is new central university. some people are waiting for the notification how tot get the information. there is university web page yet. as of first establishing central university in orissa, that too in Koraput should have good publicizes as of some other central universities doing like JNU New Delhi, HCU, Hyderabad and some others
