Respected sir.
You are must watching the current JEE counselling very closely. What an upset going at the counselling sir?
What do you think now?
If the seats will not be filled up then, what will all the colleges do?
6. Chitta Baral | August 12th, 2009 at 11:18 am
I have not been watching very carefully. If the seats do not fill some of the colleges will run into financial trouble. That is the free market way.
7. Sabyasachi Kar | August 13th, 2009 at 11:00 am
Well..
A lot of seats are now remaining vacant at the counselling even after 27000 rank.

I am now very concerned. I wonder what is happening. In the worst case they may have another JEE like they had a few years ago. But I am not sure if that would help.

It might happen..If so then its very unfortunate.I had already mentioned before that orissa is going tamil nadu way.Looking at todays market scenario people are looking for other options in higher studies.Engineering was once a passion for all the students of orissa but looking at overall market scenario students may switch to other fields like pharmacy, journalism etc.

The inconvenience of tha state govt. and also BPUT and AICTE will cost a lot to the students admitted in this year and the previous year.
With 50-60 student intake, a college can do nothing for its growth and for the students welfare.
They cant recruite faculties, cant establish their laboratories, cant make good companies to come for the placement.
because all this needs heavy amount of money which generally gathered from the students as means of tuition fees.
So, i guess except 10-20 colleges all the other colleges will suffer a lot.
2nd jee, 3rd jee cant help anyone this year.
There is another way having only a chance of 1 to 2% of filloping the seats is that…
1- By conducting counselling in the outside undeveloped states like All Union Teritories
Bihar
Jharkhand
West Bengal(Optional)
Manipur
Mijoram and states like this…
May this can help the colleges and students

Respected sir,
General counselling ended. Plenty plenty of seats left at GE counselling.
This year it is imppossible for anyone to complete the sests in jee.
Most of the colleges will die this year like TAMILNADU in 2008.
