Center willing to have Odisha’s third CIPET campus in Balasore

Following is an excerpt from a report in Financial Express.
Patnaik said that the Union secretary also said the Centre is willing to set up a branch of the CIPET (Cental Institute of Plastic Engineering Tehncology) at Balasore in the state. For the institute, the state government has agreed to provide 15 acres of land, he disclosed.

The proposed 3rd campus in Balasore is mainly due to the efforts of Central Minister and Balasore MP Srikant Jena. The other campuses of CIPET in the rest of India are shown in this map.

It is quite surprising that Srikant Jena is doing something for the state and the district. I had a read a couple of news items that said the minister who is not from the district almost never visits it. If he is actually behind the setting up of the third branch then kudos to him.

i think this is great to establish another campuss in balasore,quite comfusion that in which area the campus will be?

it very nice to hear that we have another cipet in balasore,as i am a cipetian & i am working in a multinational company in uganda(east africk) may be some of our orissa student (product of cipet balasore) will be in foreign country. i like to serve in balasore cipet 4 our orissa candiate if i will get a chance.
