Dharitri and Odisha.com have hard hitting articles on the Center’s indifference to Orissa

Dharitri (pdf: page1, page2, page3) covers the main story on “Center Does not Need Orissa” where it exposes how Orissa is being sidelined with respect to the national institutes being proposed in 11th five year plan. Odisha.com reports on Government of India’s betrayal towards Orissa and its people while establishing new IIT across India. (Based on Dr. Digambara Patra’s sentences.)

The article on centre’s neglect to Orissa in http://www.odisha.com and Dharitri is enlightening. The Odisha.com article gives statistical analysis of it. We are facing this stepmotherly atitude because we do not have impact nationally. Odisha.com I belive is country’s most sucessfull portal in regional language. It has highest readership compaired to even hindi portal who claim to be covering the whole country. If Odisha.com can bring out portals in national languages ( I mean in Hindi and english ) with its enterprenuership I think many of our problem will be solved.
Main problem is we are not able to make our voice heard and may be this is a solution I suggest. Let us request Odisha.com to launch national portal. SAnJuKta
