It is great to see that NIT Rourkela is offering MBA and 2 yr and 5 yr M.Sc programs. Also impressive is its offering of programs in Life Sciences and Biotechnology and Medical Engineering.
In the future it should aim for a program in Intellectual Property Law (as is offered in IIT Kharagpur), more programs in liberal arts (such as in Economics), and possibly even an MBBS in collaboration with one of the local hospitals.
VSSUT Burla should follow NIT Rourkela’s path in expanding its offerings.

please tell me how much score needed in cat,mat,xat for taking admission in any nit for mba respectively.

Only a CAT/XAT/GMAT score of more than 88 percentile+gd+pi can fetch you an admission in MBA(SOM) of NIT Rourkela. Any other score is not accepted at all & admission is strictly on merit. Only engineers with more than 6.5 cgpa are eligible to apply but once you get a seat here your placement is confirmed.

it is really tough for general candidate , as there is only 15 seats for general , if u r general, your score in cat must be greater than 85 and above ,
