  The whole bluddy system is responsible for this. Politics and politicians both are the main culpiter and because of them ,we the students gonna to survive.i don’t know whether it is true or false but yet its a shameful matter.Because of this leg pulling nature we, the odia people are not devloping……. SHAME SHAME SHAME…

  Dear Sir,
  Recently Vedanta as a company is synonym with too much controversy.
  Their Lanjigarha project is under controversy as government is certain to deny the forest clearance granted to them.
  They have recently purchased Cairn and verntured into Oil.
  I don’t think they as a company has any values and are looking for short term gains just like reliance group of companies.
  I am not at all in favour of these company to establish the university at puri.

  I think we should now have some healthy competition amongst districts in Orissa for investments and new projects. If the people of Puri are not vocal or enthusiastic about Vedanta University maybe Vedanta should set it up in some other district of Orissa. I wish our MPs and MLAs ran their district and constituencies like companies rather ATM machines from which to suck out as much cash.
  Why don’t other districts in the state come up with a proposal to relocate the university elsewhere? Berhampur seems to have a lot going for it now. Unless of course Vedanta is bent upon having it at Puri due to some religio-economic reasons.

  Sir/madam- i think MAYURBHANJ is the best&neat place for constructing VEDANTA UNIVERSITY, b’coz the people of M’bhanj are so realistic and cooperative…

  I have a feeling that Vedanta University may shift as a consequence of its business interest in the form of Bauxite Mining being compromised in the state.

  However, our CM should cajole Anil Agarwal Foundation to shift the location to an alternate site, not far from Bhubaneswar especially areas borderilng Bhadrak or Balasore or for that matter Khurda/Berhampur.

  This requires the government to come up with concrete plans and necessary freebies.

  Indeed Vedanta was offered a location near Chilika lake by the side of NH-5 between Khallikote and Rambha as an alternate location for the University project. But, because of the proximity of the place near Puri to the state Capital it was preferred by Vedanta for this ambitious project. But, it will sound like giving up on the University project at Puri if Orissa were to offer an alternative to Puri at this stage. Let the entire state and govt persist with Puri as lossing the University will be too big a shock for us to bear. Further, what is the guarentee that the MOEF will not create hurdles again with respect to Chilika coast even if the Vedanta actually accepts the alternative. If Orissa surrenders like this on every issue there will no end to this misery. Has AP relented on Polavaram or Nagavali or Vamsadhara projects which may put the entire southern region into deep crisis. So, it is time to backing the state projects instead. Sad that Rahul Gandhi has chosen this occasion to firm up his political CV.

  as usual after some days you will discover that it is establishing its university some where out side odisa

  plz stop the leg pulling nature,or else everytym u will be fail

  See guys nobody is going to get benefit from this if we pull this project to other state .It is choosen best place .Tottaly orissa Map will going to change because of Vedanta university..
  Donot Think like which place think about it is in orissa How many days we will fight for rkl,berhampur,cuttack

  we oriya can make it ..
  Please be unite and donot let thsi project to go other state…
  I believe we oriya can do it…
