Pathetic. Absolutely shameful. Such a huge state and so few govt. medical colleges! I wish people in all districts in Odisha that do not have medical colleges start an agitation to have at least one medical college (govt. or private) established in their district. Pondicherry has more medical colleges than Odisha! Mr. Naveen Patnaik / Mr. Acharya you should be signing MoUs for setting up private medical colleges now just as fast as you signed MoUs for steel plants. Medical colleges are profitable from all angles (owners make money from student tuition, MPs & MLAs make money by selling off their seat quotas and people benefit from greater availability of doctors. And of course doctors begin working for minimum wage.)
