It’s never a matter of concern by the Govt.,when education sector in the state is an area of low priority.
What policies the state is having on primary, higher and technical educations?
Opening of institute/University has become a practice to safeguard the interests of a few.
Was it really necessary to open Utkal University of Culture in the state capital where we have most established Utkal University having infrastructure and potential to accomodate more faculties and strength?
We must have long term plan of sustenance before opening any institution.
If we have a defined policy and framework of implementation, we can always overcome the resource constraints to develop an institute.
Now the students seeking admission to any institute have option to select for a degree with or without class room teaching.
Have we been able to device a system to evaluate institutes both Govt. and private?
Have we developed controlled mechanism to ensure quality education in the state?
We must be prepared to face future challenge of employment threats in the state with the present scenario of fast changing world.
It is probably the youth not any Govt. which may bring about educational reform in the state.
