At least Seven new AICTE approved Engineering Colleges are starting from this year
Those are:
- Bhubaneswar Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar.
- Capital Engineering College, Bhubaneswar.
- INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, Bhubaneswar.
- Radhakrishna Institute of Engineering and Technology (RITE), Bhubaneswar.
- RAYAGADA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT, Rayagada
- KRUTTIKA INSTITUTE OF TECHNICAL, Bhubaneswar
- BHADRAK ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY, Bhubaneswar
Six of the above are in the Bhubaneswar area taking the total number of engineering colleges in the Bhubaneswar area to 68.
Some of the engineering colleges that are still in the pipeline are:
- Dadhichi College of Engineering, Cuttack
- Hirakud Institute of Engineering & Technology, Baragarh
- Maa Manasha Institute of Engineering and Technology (MMIET), Bhubaneswar
- Satyananda Institute of Engineering & Technology, Bhubaneswar
- SRI KRISHNA CHAITANYA ENGINEERING COLLEGE, Bhubaneswar
