Aricent to open global development and global training center in Bhubaneswar

Kalinga Times reports that Aricent, a global communication software company, will open a development center in Bhubaneswar. Following are some excerpts.
Global communications software company Aricent on Friday announced its decision to open a Development Centre in Bhubaneswar.
The company will also set up a Global Training Centre in the State.
Manoranjan
MohantyMohapatra, president and chief operating officer of Aricent, made the announcements at a meeting with Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here.According to an official release issued by the Chief Minister’s Officer, the Development Centre of the company will have 1200 employees.
The Global Training Centre will have provision to impart training to 1000 students. Subsequently, the student strength in the centre will be increased to 3000 . …

its indeed a good news for the IT scene in Orissa.there is a correcton here -the chairman is Manoranjan Mohapatro and not Manoranjan Mohanty..

As it is reported as Monaranjan Mohanty, CEO of Aricent, he is actually Manoranjan Mahapatra not Mohanty. Aricent is the new name after takeover from Hughes Software Systems to Flextronics.

As i am belongs to Orissa,it is greater oppurtnity for orissa that Aricent opens development center in Orissa.At last i am very much thanks to Manoranjan Mahapatra.

this news has been creating lot of hype.but again all this hasa come from orissa govt side..we can only be confirmed if some public announcement comes from Aricent..but kudos to manoranjan mohapatro for taking the initiative
