In Annexure-4 item no. 9 of budget speech, Buramara-chakulia new line survey has been taken up, but the project was undertaken up by RVNL since long, and also appears in “project in progress item no. 38” of RVNL. Is it possible that RVNL has undertaken this project without any survey or it is just a ploy to eventually attenuate the project?

The inspection by Commissioner of Railway Safety for passenger transport of Lanjigarh Road Junagarh Railway line (Part) from Lanjigarh Road to Bhawanipatna is scheduled on Dt. 27.03.2012. If all goes well, the line will be ready for passenger trains within 3 months.

A bunch of plain and deliberate lies aimed at hoodwinking the people of Odisha. Here it is
1. Lanjigarh Rd- Bhawanipatna section was supposed to be complete by 31 March 10 as per two earlier rail budgets. Now they are saying it would be complete by 31 March 2012. Bhawanipatna- Junagarh section was supposed to be complete by 31 March 11. Station building, staff quarters, electrification works are still going on.
2. Khurda Rd- Begunia section was supposed to be complete by 31 March 2011. Now they are saying it would be complete by March 2012. But the tender documents say it can only be complete in FY 12-13. That’s the reason they have not introduced a train in this section.
3. In the last budget it was said that Jharsuguda- Rengali would be complete by March 12. Now they are saying a part of this(Lapanga- Brundamal) would be over by March 2013.
Deliberate lies:
1. In last year’s budget, it was said that Part of Talcher- Bimalagarh would be complete in 11-12. By that time, even the earthwork tender for this part was not issued. Now they are saying that this part would be complete by March 13.
2. They have included Delang- Sakhigopal doubling as a work to be completed by March 2013. Interestingly the tender for earthwork, minor bridges issued few days back mentions that the completion period for this work is 15 months from the date of issue of LOA, which is another three months away. There are other tenders to be issued and finalised. What else one would describe this? Deliberate lie?
3. No human hand can complete Angul-Kerjang doubling in the financial year 12-13. I doubt whether the estimates have been prepared and sanctioned. Another deliberate lie?
4. Begunia- Nayagarh to be complete by March 2013- A MASTER LIE OR A CRUEL JOKE?
In my post last year, I have said that pink book figures have to be taken with a pinch of salt. I stand vindicated again and again. Please do not believe these figures.
Railways have to manage politicians and media here as no other state gives so much surplus to them. That’s why the tamasha of a PPP wagon factory for the last three years in which railways won’t invest a penny. We quarrel among ourselves and they clap and enjoy sitting in the gallery. Why are not they putting up loco workshop or wagon POH workshop funded from the capital? Twenty such works are being executed in different parts of the country; 8 in West Bengal alone.
Pass through trains and surveys/updating surveys(some of them are frivolous)- that’s the best we can get from rail budgets.

TITLAGARH – RAMAGUNAM/KOTTAPALI.. a new line is to be introduced to connect with hyderabad and other southern area..Â
AND oher lines are required to be complete  to connect with pune.. i.e; latur rd. and near of nizamabad line….
If the above will consider than we will divert some trains which are now running between howrah-hyderabad, howrah-pune-mumbai and goa…. and it will give a great relief to  western odisha…….
