Infosys out of Bengal – BBSR it’s Eastern India Hub
IT June 1st. 2007, 2:53amTOI reports that Infosys has logged out of Bengal due to High land rates. This news coupled with the fact that Infosys plans to increase it’s headcount to around 5000 in next few years makes Bhubaneswar it’s biggest hub in east India.This projects good growth prospects for Orissa.

I guess a once the TATA SEZ comes up in BBSR then we should hqave major employment.
The key factor though is to promote growth of product companies in Orissa.
Ex. Oracle, microsft,adobe etc.
This will result in self-sustainable growth in Orissa . Since, good companies will induce greater invetsment in education and great HRD will induce more companies setting up sites in Orissa.

The TCS centre in bhibaneswar is expected to expand in a big way. As far as i know either TCS has applied for SEZ status or it is leasing land from IDCO which is already under SEZ .
Need to confirm the info , though ..
THE gopalpur sez is expected to be a multi-product sez.
