Hello
If this is kind of a movement I support this.
I am from coastal belt of Odisha and seen the agriculture dying a slow death in our region.People have moved out to other professions as agriculture is no more paying. Some of the farmers have become daily wage earners and even beggers. The land which was producing good quality rice and pulses are lying barreen for a years. In some areas, river beds are at higher level than the land so rain water is becoming stagnant , causing total loss to the crop. Rest of the year it is the animals and thiefs who are claiming their portion.Land grabbers in the disguise of devellopers for residential properties are making the land uncultivatable.Village Panchayat and government could do nothing .
Any solution with you????

Dear Mr,Chintamani,
I am an MBA and been in profession for the last 15 years but in todays rapid industrialisation we have all forgotten agriculture. After a decade we will see the beginning of the “Green Revolution”. I am really inttrested to start farming in a more scientific way – I guess the catch lies there, we dont see many success stories in farming in Odisha bcoz we dont use scientific means to be more productive.
